Looks like the NX70 has had its price reduced in the UK. Down to £1990-ish before VAT at several retailers, £2300 or so including VAT. I make it about £200-250 off the previous price, and a full £500 less than I paid for it.

Bang goes the resale value then! (Boy, this camera just gets more pleasurable by the day...)

The USA price seems to be holding at $2700 at B&H though.

model year closeout... and the price of buying "new". It'd be worse if it was a car, just figure you got the use out of it in all the time you've owned it, if you stress price too much, it'll make you crazy, especially in THIS economy, where "super sale" pricing is needed to move most anything, cause people are too broke to pay attention!

Food... gas... roof over head... video camera is down the list for a lot of folks, count blessings if you're lucky enough to have it anywhere on your list! If you can make money with it, even better!

I'm not too cut up, don't worry! One wonders is it just a sale, or are they getting ready for the next big small cam...

In US, they have a $300 rebate too. Not sure if that is same in Europe. That gets you net for $ 2500.

But I sent mine back to Sony. Just mad that they call the camera professional, but don't let you adjust picture profile.

I was surprised to find out today that the NX70u's price dropped to $1999! I nearly bought it when it was just below $3000. $2k is still a lot for me, but I think I'm going to get it now.

I bought this camera with 300 rebate for 2,699.00 on June 26 at B&H, I did not see a price drop.
I asked yesterday B&H5 to give me a credit for difference in price but they denied. Explanation I was late!. And they explained to me, it is our courtesy, not obligation. Way to go, Sony and B&H. Wonderful advertise!
