rumor has it, Sony will introduce the FS700 firmware update at IBC, adding a nonproprietary 4k RAW output through SDI.
At the moment, the only recorder capable of process this output is the AJA Ki pro Quad. But it will record in 4 K Prores :(

Cineform should team up with recorder manufacturers (Atomos, AjA, Black Magic) to implement their Cineform RAW codec into those devices. Probably you´re already planning to do that but I thouhght I write it here anyway.

The list of recorders that will be able to record the RAW signal from the FS700 will be very short in the near term. RAW from the FS700 requires 3g SDI and the ability to process the equivalent of 1080p60 uncompressed video in the recorder.

I hope to see more recorder offerings available when RAW comes out. I'm not holding my breath for it though.
