I have Rainbowimaging Canon EOS EF Lens to Micro 4/3 Camera Mount Adapter and would like to know how to avoid the wide open lens when I using a Canon mount lens with my GH2.
I mean, what`s the procedure to set a specific F stop in the (EF) lens to work with this cheap adapter - aware that it won`t change while working with GH2?
Thanks

Ron, I believe you need to change the iris using a Canon camera, than place the lens on your adapter and put it on the GH2. I think.

Thank you Jeff, but there is a way to change the iris with a Canon camera AND KEEP IT when put the lens + adapter on the GH2.
That`s what I need to know.

You have to hold down the DOF preview button on the Canon camera body WHILE removing the lens. That should do it.

Thank you Chris.
Just to confirm: with the camera (Canon) turned off ? (You have to hold down the DOF preview button on the Canon camera body WHILE removing the lens)

You have to do it with the camera turned on. It won't work if the camera is powered down.

When you press (and hold) the button you will hear the iris move. That is when you remove the lens. Be sure to keep holding down the DOF preview button.
