Anyone know if this Switronix/F3 mount requires rods for attachment like the AB Gold Mount? I have not been able to find an answer to this question on any website.

Thank you for the reply. If it mounts like the AB it will not work for my application and I'm left with the Swit EX L-96 as my only option for a D-tapped battery. Not the kind of power I was looking for but better than the standard Sony batt.

Does anyone know of a similar sort of plate to the Switronix that offers a right-angle XLR plug? The straight plugs seem to really force you to push rear-mounted accessories further backwards than would be ideal.
