So I just got my C300. I'm still figuring it out. But one conundrum I can't figure out. I'd like to have the scroll wheel on the handle adjust ISO as that will be my first step to controlling exposure. However, if you change the wheel to adjust gain/ISO it appears there is no longer any way to adjust the aperture!? Am I missing something. One would think you should be able to access it with the Function or a custom button, but that appears to not be the case.
In general I like the camera. I do think customization of the buttons and wheels could be much, much, much better than it currently is. It's puzzling why Canon didn't do a better job with this. Example, ISO+, ISO-, would be a lot more useful than Headphone+,Headphone-. And why can't I program different wheels for different things? A couple more buttons on the hand grip would have been nice too.
My other gripe, ISO seems to be rated higher than other cameras I'm used to. (ISO 3200 is more like ISO 1600) Of course I haven't gotten into tweaking the camera settings yet.
