if must be my year for off the wall happenings..
There's a movie about a woman who loses her memory and the husband had to help her recover - the vow? - a pretty lame romcom by all acounts.
I met a guy last week who's wedding I shot about 3 years ago - he looked much the worse for wear and guess what had happened?
His wife had a grand mal seizure and forgot who she was, they're been trying to rebuild her memory for the last couple of months. She remembers bit and pieces and occasionaly large chunks come back but the Husband said it was very difficult - they have a 5 month old!
She started to remember him but thought they were still friends in high school, so the family sat down and showed her the wedding video.
Can you imagine what that must have been like, watching your own wedding for the 1st time, recognizing yourself but not the situation you were in.
all the little things/experiences/feelings that make you a couple are gone - I can't imagine how tough a time they are both having - I hope she recovers fully.
Suddenly my editing backlog doesn't seem quite so important, I think I'll take the wife to the movies - her shout!
