Is there any reason to NOT mix 2 different wattage CFL bulbs in a multi socketed head - you know the cheap softbox kind that takes 6 bulbs and has 2 power switches so you can turn on 1 bank at a time? My thinking is that rather than have 2 options (half & full), I can have 3 options (3x30 watt, 3x85 watt and both).
The ballast is in the bulb so should not be an issue - right? Especially if bulbs are from same manufacture and have same temp & CRI?
Am I missing something?
Sample of multi socket head.. but there are dozens of them out there
