I'm just researching the C300. I want to use my Flash XDR as a external recorder, but in the manual it seems to imply that whatever frame rate you choose, say, 25p, the HDSDI output will be 50i. I this correct?

Also, does anyone know of a third party that produces extension cables for the viewfinder?
I suspect that the connectors are a Canon proprietary job....but if anyone knows what type of connectors they are ......
