I have RED 3d footage I would like to process in CS6 Premiere. Cineform has shoehorned in some good 3d support, but I was wondering how far the '3d-ness' actually extends.
Which plugins can be expected to work ? Only Cineform ones ?
Can I call After effects to do something with the dynamic link feature ?

For example , can I use the warp stabilizer to steady some footage, or do a mesh warp to correct for inter eye lens differences ?

I'm hoping that CS7 will give stereoscopic functionality. Copying to Speedgrade is a non starter for me at this time.

Thanks

cineform enable to manipulate a single file dual eyes.
for 3d cineform you can apply every kind of plugin of premiere, but...
remember that you apply a filter, if you change geometry you must do carefully...
you can stabilize (3d eyes move at exact same times)
mesh warp not good, if you need stereoscopic warping you need a specialized tool like ocula (nuke) or other some tool to work on single eye, or you can split that specific sequence in two single eye file cineform, or work one eye at time.
Speedgrade have many good tool to manipulate 3d cineform from many years.
