So...we're new to our Pix240 but love it.
Using our Canon XL-H1 (original version..no audio down SDI)
Anywhoooooo....
The LANC connection does not work with Pix. It controls a remote zoom...but will not start/stop the Pix. Anyone else run into this with their H1 ?
Now...Timecode...
We have the TC output of our H1 connected to the TC input on the Pix. Record start/stop is being triggered by the TC.
On the Canon..we're shooting 24 fps. 1080 of course. We have the Pix set to AUTO input fps. The video setting is set to 1080 59.94.
When we record HDV tape and Pix at the same time....the time code does NOT sync. We 've done the jam sync on the Pix....but they drift. If I record 30 seconds or so...the tc drift on the Pix is about 3 seconds FASTER than the HDV tape.
What do we have set wrong ? Ideas ?
Thanks !
