I can achieve painfully slow 3 minute zooms with the rocker on the lens itself (Fujinon stock) - is the same possible with the JVC HZ-ZS13BU remote zoom servo control? Or is it just a three-speed switch like I've seen with Sony LANC controllers...

It will be the same as the lens rocker zoom control with the remote zoom control.
