Does anyone have a suggestion for a decent field monitor for outdoor use. The LCD screen is pretty ineffective in bright sun, even with a hood. I seldom use the EVF as I use a stabilizer and or tripod.

Under $1000 would be nice.

The TVLogic VFM065W is very good and can be supplied with a very deep hood for use in the brightest of sunlight. It's also very light and compact.
