For years I've been asked to shoot with a broad range of cameras.
In the past, I've owned a few and rented the rest.
But in the last few years, the requests have become extreme… a SLR one day and a Red the next.
Rental costs were eating into my profits, until I bought a PIX 240 for my EX3 and FS100.
(The FS700 will replace the FS100 next week.)
I've been able to convince 90% of my clients to use this combo.
Next week I need to convince a new client… and it's proving to be a difficult sell.
Partly because they are still using tape and partly because they're not very technical.
So today, I published a website, which I hope will help producers understand the mix of cameras and recorders…
I also decided it would be a good place to store all the FS700 research which is clogging my desktop.
I've just upload a few site... but I plan add more info this week.
I don't know if this will be helpful for others... feedback would be appreciated.
