I'm looking for a way to mount an EX1 for shooting from the drivers seat of a car. This is NOT for shooting while the car is moving, but while it is stopped. The goal being to use the car as a blind for shooting birds/wildlife.

So far I've come up with two possible solutions. One would be using a bean bag with a 3/8" stud, attach a ball head to that for leveling, then attach a small fluid head.

The other thought is to use a Matthews Magic Riser and 6" suction cup.

Any ideas, comments, insights, suggestions appreciated!

Thanks Chris. The Vanguard window clamp with the leveling head might be worth a look. The reason a window clamp wasn't on my list though is that I read a couple of complaints about vibration with them. That's a plus for the bean bag, as it would absorb vibration.

How about GoPro Hero2 motorsport edition?
