Hey guys, I'm kinda new here and have tons of questions but for starters, I ran across the Redgiant website and would like to know if Magic Bullet really worth it? I'd be using it with Avid doing documentary and student film work.
Thanks in advance.

If you're just starting out with your NLE, then Magic Bullet is a pretty handy tool. I have the plug-in for Premiere Pro, and it's given me a lot of versatility in terms of "looks" and filters and such.
However, if you're experienced with adjusting image settings such as contrast, color correction, saturation and so on, then I wouldn't really recommend Magic Bullet -- all it does is play with those settings.
It can also increase render times significantly (although if you're running Avid, you've got a good computer, so that's probably a moot point).

Hi Michael,
I just upgraded the version that came with Vegas 7.0 and I like well. Its like Tim says - a handy tool for those beginning with color and contrast. I find I am learning from the software which is nice. I think you will be happy you purchased this product.
Cheers
