does anyone know if a 100mm manfrotto head would be compatible with the 100mm bowl on Libec sticks?

Can't answer your question I'm afraid, never tried it so won't say one way or another, though the more slender bowl clamp on the Manfrotto could work OK, maybe.

What interests me is why you'd put a 100mm ball Manfrotto (which one?) on a set of Libec sticks (which ones?).

There's a heck of a lot of reasons I ask those questions, but untill I get some answers from you, I'll just keep quiet.
