Has anybody used these lens? They have Zeiss glass but in a new shell. Interesting how they have modified the Tokina 11-16 as well.

Customized film lens (http://www.pchood.com/film%20lens)

Price seems very tempting.

Guess the answer to "has anyone used this lens" is self-evident then.

Might be better to buy Nikon mount Zeiss lenses and send them to Duclos for modification.

I think Duclos is just more trusted.

Yes, you don't get much more solid than Duclos.

It would be great to be able to jump on this--I'd love to have my ZE's effectively converted into CP2's for a fraction of the price. But I'd need to spend time with their conversions and hear feedback from multiple legitimate sources that these guys are taking care of business before I'd feel comfortable shipping my lenses to China...!

The china lenses just look like the standard lens with an added focus ring. The original focus ring and scale is still visible, so it doesn't look to me like a true rehousing job, just a fancy focus gear that covers up most of the lens and makes it look like its been rehoused. Looks like the actual focus rotation etc has not been changed.
