hola guys,
the incredible happend to me:
how come my old projects with the fonts i decided to use on a video changed automatically every font used in the past projects?
My issue is that i'm changing a part where i have to rerender the newer with a new font but the character doesn't appear to match on the scroll font menu.
HOw is it possible this font disappeared from my pc?
I don't remeber originally the font name .....
What can i do to install new fonts?
many thx

Vegas simply uses whatever fonts are installed in Windows. If you installed some other program that installs fonts, that's where some additional fonts can come from. If you later removed that program or you rebuilt that computer and did not install that program, the font would not be available.

Wow that's where probably i missed it!
Where can i try to get back the fonts online?
Is there anything free?

There's tons of free fonts on the internet - a quick google search will find you many fonts.

The funny thing is that the font appears on the Windows folder but it doesn't appear in the Sony Vegas scroll down fonts!

Does it appear in other apps such as Word?
What type of font is it? Is it a true-type font?
Do you have any font management software that may have "turned it off"?
All I really know is that I install a new font into Windows and I can then use it in ALL of my apps, including Vegas.

download that font here: Download OratorStd Regular font. Find font samples, examples and test it free at AZfonts (http://www.azfonts.net/load_font/oratorstd.html)
Install it in your machine, restart and then reload your project.
Maybe that will work.
