Hi.
Let's say I have a video clip that contains 2 or more usable items, especially where those two items are relatively unrelated. For example, I have an opening narrator shot that ends with a blooper. I want to use both, but I won't put the blooper in the opening of the finished product.
Is it typical to import the clip twice, and mark separate in/out points, then use each as though they were different clips?
I'm motivated to do this, because I like using the "Video Usage" counter to make sure I don't overuse clips, and this way I will keep the correct counts.
