Title says it all. I'm on original 1.0 firmware. Want to try some of the hacks.....so I'm guessing I should go ahead and update to Panny's v1.1 before starting??

The hack uses the firmware as a base anyway. When you install the hack you're just flashing an improved version of the upgrade and it wipes out whatever was in there at the time.

The important things are to use a fully charged OEM battery and don't touch ANYTHING after the upgrade starts.

so the warnings about not using the 1.1 firmware were just related to the fact that when it came out VK didn't have the hack working with that firmware??
