I have FX1, but have a Zi at my work location.. It seems the headphone jack on the Z1 does no have any audio.. Is there any setting in Z1 to turn on /off or control the headphone jack?? Or is it just a hardwire deal??

Try the volume controll on the controll panel under the LCD display, bottom left corner. It actually took me a few times to see it and see if that helps. I'll check on my Z1 later tonight, but give it a try.
