Hello,
I'm working with 6+ drives that I put online and offline all the time. Mainly I'm using windows, but I also use mac.
When I'm finished with recording media on solid state, working on a project, I archive it to a drive... and when I need to pull it up again months later, I have trouble finding it...
I'm wondering if there is a small program or utility for windows, and hopefully for mac, that can generate a searchable index/listing of the contents of a drive, that I can hopefully tag entries, and update the list and maintain my tags -- so if I'm looking for a project, I can pull this up, search folder names and tags, and find which drive I put it on, and open it up again.
Ideas?
How do you manage your backups/offline projects?
