There will soon be a firmware update for the F3 (v1.4) however at a glance it appears to be focussed upon the interaction of the SRR1 recorder. That's about as much use as a rebate on early purchased s-log.

Word is it will be after NAB, sometime in May. Apparently will contain a set of customer requested features or enhancements.
