View Full Version : Media Encoder Can't Render H.264 @ 2048x1152?

Hi all,

I recently finished a project at 2048x1152, and realized that Adobe Media Encoder will not allow that resolution when I select the H.264 codec. I've read a little that it's possible to render higher resolutions using "High Level Profile 5" or such.

Is it possible to make Media Encoder (for Mac) render an H.264 .mov beyond 2000px wide (the current limitation I'm experiencing)? If not, which tool do you use to render 2K resolution or higher?

Kind regards,
James

You can raise the level to 5.1 within the H.264 format.
Just tested it, no problem exporting 2048x1152 with H.264

Hi Ann,

Thanks for the tip. I realized that I was keeping the format as "QuickTime", but switched over to the H.264 settings and saw the available options.

Best,
James

I tried this but the video came out interlaced with the lines etc. Any ideas?
