I have been doing market research on wireless intercom systems for camera operators and a technical director. A wired system is hard to set up and take down in the venues I often work (ice rinks). It seems like the inexpensive systems have serious drawbacks (i.e., Eartec is only duplex for 2 users and more becomes one-way comms) or very expensive with "pro" systems in the $3K-$5K range.
[Looking at other Eartec, the Eartec Simultalk 24G Three-Station is in my preferred price range. Is the audio quality good enough though?]
Has anyone found a less expensive solution that is fairly sturdy and has acceptable specs? The environment is not particularly noisy. I like the Anchor Audio ProLink systems for example, but need something less than half the price. Would consider clean used gear or refurbished. Operating in the U.S. if frequencies are an issue.
Thanks!
