A Canadian academic and film maker, Lee Chambers is making encouraging progress in getting a movie up. His novel, also titled "The Pineville Heist" I believe is based from the screenplay, not the other way around is apparently doing well on downloading.

My vested interest or connection ? Very tenuous. - Lee conducted a workshop at our local high school last year. Beyond being able to name-drop, I have no other association.

Nice trailer. Wish the music had got more exciting as it progressed but otherwise a very interesting sequence. Reminds me of my own efforts.
