Just a quick question, I did use the "Ask Pete" option, on the Vinten website, but keeps telling me my answer to the caption question is wrong. So I'm asking here. I have the Vision Blue tripod and head kit (mid level spreader). I'm interested in a dolly system. Have a track based system in mind. But until I can afford that, I was thinking of adding wheels to my vinten tripod.

I saw the protouch pd114 on the Vinten website. I'm Wondering if this works on the VB sticks? It says for all protouch systems. I don't know if that includes the VB.

Or does anyone have another suggestion?

The dolly you highlighted will certainly work with the VB sticks, no problems.

Worth noting is that both Vinten and Manfotto share the same double spike feet pattern and dimensions, so that anything designed for Manfrotto double spikes also fits Vinten and vice versa.

You can save a bit of moohla by using this instead: Manfrotto 114MV Cine/Video Deluxe Dolly - for 3181/3182, 114MV

which is exactly the same unit, just doesn't have that classy (and expensive) Vinten badge on it, or indeed, pretty well any Manfrotto dolly designed for double spiked feet.

Same goes for spreaders and anything else that fits tripod feet.
