Hi,

Can anybody recommend a good charger for the LP-E8. I can't afford the Canon original version and am looking to spend around £10-15 each for 2 more. The batteries will charge throughout the day as I shoot so I am using my own original charger and will be using two more on the day.
I am going with the Hahnel LP-E8 as additional batteries they have been good to me so far.

I just ordered one of these to check out whether they're any good (link: Camera Battery Charger for Canon LP-E8 (100~240V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme (http://hypr.nl/4k)). Since they come with a US plug, I ordered a plug-convertor along with it (link (http://hypr.nl/4l)).

You might want to give it a shot. :-)

I really wanted one that has been tried and tested before I buy. It's hard to find any on Amazon.

Well... mine is on its way - so I might be able to tell you a thing or two in a few weeks time, but that just might be a bit of a long wait ... :-/

This is beyond your price range but I have a couple of these that charge two batteries at once. You can swap different supplied plastic widgets to charge LP-6 (5DII) or LP-E8(600D) or other Canon DSLR batteries. The quality is nice & they have little LCDs that tell you percentage charged.
