Was on the phone with Canon Cinema Eos Tech support again today asking for more firmware upgrades (I suggest everyone does this), and in chatting with the tech, she let me know that Canon has 3 LUTs available for NLEs. They are called: Rec709, Cineon10 and Video. Give them a shout and they will Email them to you.

The tech also let me know that the c300 WILL be added to CPS soon.

C300 supported under CPS??, that would be a really good thing. Looks like Canon is listening...

Hi tried downloading the LUT's from Canon USA website and they lead you to a page of numbers and download nothing at all . Is anyone else having this issue ? Does Canon know? Can anyone forward me the email with the LUT's in it?

I'm not seeing anything at Canon U.S.A. : Professional Imaging Products : EOS C300 (http://usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/professional_cameras/cinema_eos_cameras/eos_c300?selectedName=DriversAndSoftware)

...unless that "page of numbers" you saw contained the hard data settings for manually entering each preset? Anyway, if somebody has a working link to that page, please share it.

Select "your OS" and the LUT will show up.

Did you manage to resolve this Mark?

All I'm seeing are the numbers.

The LUTs are just CSV (comma separated value) files. Your browser is displaying rather than downloading. You can try using a different browser or alternatively just cut & paste the list of values & create your own CSV file.

Not having much luck.

Tried all the browsers and haven't been able to create a CSV file that Premiere recognises.

Since English is not my native language, I gladly want to know what CPS mean.

Thanks in advance!

In Europe CPS seems mainly aimed to service professional photographers. There are three levels depending on how much professional stills equipment you have e.g.

Platinum membership - the registration requirement is three qualifying camera bodies and four qualifying lenses. Turnaround time on repairs to registered CPS-serviced equipment is two working days. Free back-up loan service, if the two-day turnaround time for repairs is exceeded.

However it doesn't matter how many professional camcorders or lenses you have you get little advantage for CPS membership.

Video membership - the registration requirement is one qualifying professional Canon camcorder. Turnaround time on repairs to registered CPS-serviced equipment is six days.

Maybe there will be a special Cinema EOS Professional Services with a 2 day turnaround as well?

That's CCEOSPS.

No problem!

Seriously though there is a major problem with the UK CPS registration system at the moment.

I logged in to add my C300 and when I tried to save the addition it wiped out both the C300 and XF305 I've got registered there.

Thinking It was operator error I tried again and the same thing happened.

I emailed CPS and got an auto response and eventually phoned up and was asked to not try and enter or change settings as there was a problem.

That was about a week ago - not sure if it has been fixed yet.
