I have a ex3 with firmware v 1.05 , Im a little nervous about updating myself? Should I be?

Can I go from 1.05 straight to 1.17 ?

Any tips ?

Updating firmware is not difficult nor risky, as long as you follow the instructions. Just make sure there's AC power so as to ensure the continuity of the updating process. I've done all the updates of my older PDW-cams and the PMW-320 myself, it's a piece of cake.
