I have been converting my GoPro mp4 video clips to AVI via cineform without a problem for a few weeks. Yesterday the problem began. When I press the start button to convert, it claims my access is denied & cannot convert my files. Does anyone have a clue why this is occurring?

Which software are you using?

Vegas Platinum 9 but that is not the issue. I am having the problem converting the mp4 files to AVI on cineform ver 1.6.0

You should get up to the current version (NeoScene is v5.6.2)

David:

1. Is that upgrade for free (I purchased my version)? If so, the website suggests I erase my current version, is that correct? I am a bit hesitant to erase & download a new version because when loading my original cineform it was a little tricky.

2. I notice they also have a GoPro-CineForm Decoder, is that something I need to load or is the version you stated the best solution?

Thank you so much for your help,

Jeff

1. I can't remember what the upgrade costs from NeoScene 1.x to 5.x. Entry your old serial number in the order page and it will tell you the amount. Installions have gotten easier.

2. You don't need the separate decoder, that is share CineForm files with your friends.

Got it ordered just past noon, "Order is currently being processed". "If any products in your shopping cart were marked with a "Backorder" or "Pre-Order" message, your order will be delayed until all items are in stock".

I assume it will be emailed soon/tomorrow. Lets see if it fixes the issue once received & installed.
