I am about to return a new Sennheiser EW112 (b) wireless system due to loud buzzing over the audio. Initially I determined the appropriate frequency version from the vendor site map, ordered and used auto setup. This is the standard lavalier model with body pack transmitter.
I have tried changing frequencies, adjusting the sensitivity and output level, replacing batteries and testing in different locations. Squelch eventually makes the noise go away along with the voice component. The only thing that stops the buzzing in the audio is muting the transmitter.
I have been using an older Sennheiser wireless for years and never had this.
Ideas or comments before it goes back?
Thanks,
Chip
