i am trying to buy the new "gopro" software upgrade. been a cineform customer for many many years now and have successfully purchased the upgrades throughout cineform's former life. however it doesnt like my email address that ive always used on the site now that gopro is the daddy. the password reset thing isnt working right either. do i need to create a completely new account? i dont want to have to pay full price for this upgrade. im ready and willing to part with the $50 surcharge to have gopro labeled on my program if someone can tell me how to pay for it :) TIA

Same here. I had to create a new account.

I think the authorisation process has always been messy compared to most software companies and they've really excelled themselves with the upgrade from the Neo line to Go-Pro Studio Premium :- ( e.g. when you select what you want to download you choose Studio Premium as your existing product even though it is not.

But the good news is that support is very responsive.

My update took 15 days.:)
Problems with Paypal payment, problems with activation and so on...
Without help of support (Jake) it would have been endless journey. Some times I feel that would it be any easier solution for a software.

gotta report the good with the bad. obviously the bad was the issue of not being able to purchase my upgrade and having to figure out how to do it on my own.

the good is that i now have the new upgrade purchased and in place. its registered and activated. you DO have to create a completely new account to buy gopro's product. even if ur using the same email and name that u bought the old cineform on. the cineform stuff doesnt exist anymore

and there is a place where you can put in your old serial number to get credit and get the upgrade pricing and not have to pay the full price of a new gopro product with the new gopro account. :)

No sure about the account stuff, all you need is your old serial number for Neo or Neo3D to get upgrade pricing, and it will cost only $49.
