Markus Nord February 4th, 2012, 12:07 AM Nice work, Markus. How did you shoot the copepod at 00:40?
With a triocular loupe (x10-70 magnification), T2 adapter and a 600D at my children research centre. I then can ad the x3 in the 600D... It's not that sharp, but used in a moderat way it works.
Thanks for watching.
Cheers
Kent Jakusz February 5th, 2012, 06:47 AM I enjoyed it. Another minute would be a treat.
Enjoy

Jonathan Shaw February 6th, 2012, 10:02 PM I enjoyed it also, what lenses did you use for the underwater shots? Were they with the 7D?

Jonathan - Only two shots was with the 600D, the copepod and the first shot of the creek. All the rest was with the 7D. For UW I use 8mm, 14mm, 20mm and 100mm, most with the Sigma 20/1.8.
Kent - I wanted it to be quick, and if you wanted to see more, then it was the right legth (I think).
Thanks for watching...
Jonathan Shaw February 15th, 2012, 06:32 PM Do you get any vignetting with the 8mm, which housing did you use?
Thanks
Markus Nord February 16th, 2012, 01:37 PM Do you get any vignetting with the 8mm, which housing did you use?
Thanks
I use the samyang 8mm on the 7D and the 600D, no vignetting on any x1.6 sensor (I don't know way, every other 8mm will vignet, what I know). maybe this 8mm is really 10mm?!?
I use an Ikelite housing with the 5503 (8mm) and 5503.50 (14mm, 20mm) port. I use the zoom nob for focus, and it is not tight enough... I'm not 100% pleased with this housing... but the cost was what I could cover at that moment.
Hubert Hofer February 17th, 2012, 05:19 PM Superb images. What aspect ratio is this ?

It is edited in a 1920x800 timeline in Edius. That should be a 1:2.40,
Used for Blu-ray releases of 2.39:1 films (1920x800 resolution).
