Just got a new WIN7 Pro, i7-2600, 16GB, 1 TB RAID0, NVIDIA GTX545 machine. I'd like to keep video projects and backup files on a separate drive. My machine has an eSATA port so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a quality fast drive for AVCHD projects. Any help appreciated.

G-raid drives have worked very well for me. Check out the videoguys.com website they sell them there.

Another option. . . check out OWC (Other World Computing): MacSales - OWC (http://www.macsales.com)

Yes. . . their external HDD cases are for both Mac and PC platforms. :)

I have great luck with OWC. (Also had good luck with Videoguys in the past, too.)

Ended up ordering the 1 TB G Drive from B&H.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Jerry, which particular G-raid drive model do you have? I'm thinking of getting the one comes with a PCI card.
