Noticed on EX3, LCD on the viewfinder, when there's info on the screen its creates a dim horizontal line. Does anyone know if that's normal, a setting or a problem with LCD? I'm trying to look it up on Sony's website to see what it is. Hoping there's a remedy via settings or firmware upgrade. Tried adjusting Brightness and Contrast Levels.
Also did a test recording to make sure its not the imager. Pictures look clean.
Thanks

Bump.
Is there a way to adjust the display on a ex3 outside the normail birhgtness and contrast knobs?

Can you take a properly exposed closeup of the screen? Do you see the same phenomenon on EX3 screen shots in online tutorials or articles? If so, then it's normal. If not ....

Thanks Les, attached is a sample. I had to bring up a menu to get the bet example of the contrast lines. Just want to know if there is something wrong with the LCD or that if it can be adjusted.
Attached is an EX3 menu, this shows a contrast line outisde the regular menu. The lines will also show up in any high contrast situation.

Unless someone with an EX3 says differently, that looks like a malfunction with the LCD or display circuitry. My EX1 does not exhibit that problem. Does the band stay put or move as you scroll down the menu?

Thanks, that what I figured. It moves with high contrast items. Almost like the LCD is burning out. Its hard to post other examples without my camera moire from the screen.
