View Full Version : Build 520/521 released today Adam Stanislav January 18th, 2012, 03:10 PM You can download the new build 520 (32-bit) and 521 (64-bit) from Sony Creative Software - Download: Vegas Pro 11.0 (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/vegaspro) today. Jeff Harper January 18th, 2012, 03:26 PM The list of fixes is long and very worthwhile. Sony has really outdone itself with these rapid updates. I am truly impressed and a very happy camper. The last release fixed most all of my issues, but I'll install this anyway, as my GPU acceleration still is not worthwhile, and there is added improvement to some GPU chipsets, so we'll see how that goes. Well done, Sony! Graham Bernard January 18th, 2012, 03:55 PM I can only see 6 fixes in 520/521? Maybe you're looking at the previous fix list of 511/512? And that is a massive list. Grazie Jeff Harper January 18th, 2012, 04:01 PM You're right, Graham, I was looking at the previous list! This was a short list of fixes! At any rate it seems fine so far, but I'm neither excited nor worried about it. Mike Kujbida January 18th, 2012, 04:40 PM Notable fixes/changes in version 11.0 (Build 520/521) Fixed a crash that could occur when using shadows in Titles & Text or ProType Titler. Fixed a crash that could occur when rendering with MIDI devices enabled. Fixed an issue that could cause OFX keyframes to shift when reopening a project. Fixed an issue with MP3, Ogg, and AIFF files not including some audio samples at the end of the file. Fixed an issue that could prevent rendering to CineForm 3D formats. Improved the playback speed of some 3D projects. Leslie Wand January 18th, 2012, 05:26 PM me thinks it's a rushed job for those using midi (a real show stopper!) otherwise meh! Nicholas de Kock January 18th, 2012, 05:30 PM Thank you Sony, great service. Jeff Harper January 18th, 2012, 05:38 PM I've had some issues with Mp3, so it was Vegas all along, it seems. Wondered what the heck was happening! Magnus Helander January 19th, 2012, 05:18 AM >>> Fixed an issue that could cause OFX keyframes to shift when reopening a project. Well, how about that, thank you, I was running out of words not suitable for minors... Sean Seah January 20th, 2012, 10:32 AM Now we just need XML support.... Please give it to us soon!!! Really wanna do a round trip to Davinci Resolve.. Mervin Langley January 20th, 2012, 11:16 AM Great update. I am running Vegas 11 on my laptop, 32 bit (floating point, full range), Best full preview quality, with color correction at full frame without any difficulty. My GPU is a simple GTX 260M! I am impressed. |
