nice rich footage, the only thing is I'd rather hear the sounds the footage is showing me, it seems your playing a birds of the forrest type soundtrack. I think I'd rather hear music than that if I can't hear the sounds the animal is making. Especially you see the Grebe call out and no noise, yet you hear the sounds of the other birds. Good job though!

Thanks for your comments and advice, very much appreciated & I agree. The sounds were from this exact place, but a bit earlier. Those sounds were still there while we were shooting. The Grebe was yawning, not sure what sound they make as I've never heard them. Later on there were many walkers and talkers & the audio is unusable. Great point & well taken, thanks.

Why naked? - they all look well feathered to me.

The various bird calls sounded like what I would expect to hear in a dense swamp. They also sound like the sort of birds you rarely see, even for a second or two. However it would have been nice to have some shots of them calling to put our minds at ease.

Hoping to catch alligator mating season here in Lakeland this spring. Spotting the bull gators inflated hasn't been a problem, but so far have not been able to catch one when making that low frequency rumbling sound that causes the water droplets to levitate off their backs. I've heard them nearby, but never have managed to spot them, let alone get a shot. Maybe this year. It's a shot I've always wanted to get.

We have a big flock of wood storks, close to a dozen of them, that hang around Lake Morton near the library. Appropriately enough, they seem to like hanging around a couple of willow trees, long faces and all.

Give me a call next time you're in the area. I'd love to see your XF-300.

Some nice footage of Florida birds. I think the problem with your audio (which is indeed of marshland birds) is that you may have over filtered it to remove noise. That tinkly artifact is a common result.
