In the past we've used Shure WH30TQ headsets with our Shure wireless for musicals. They are rugged and get the job done. For smaller faces, I want to try making some halo mics (Microphone Placement Techniques for Theatre - Bright and Loud (http://www.brightandloud.com/microphone-placement/)) using the Shure WL93 omni mics which are about half the price of a B3.

Has anyone used the WL93 as a halo mic? Any tips?
