Does anyone know of a rental house in Canada where I can rent the Fujinon TH13x3.5BRMU?
I have a few shoots coming up and this lens would come in very handy.
I've checked with Videoscope and Cinequip-White but, as neither are JVC dealers, they don't carry this lens.
I've also checked with my dealer and he doesn't carry it either.
I've got a Century Precision Optics 0.8X wide adapter (bought several years ago for a previous model of camera) but it makes very little difference when I put it on my HM-750U.

I was about so say Videoscope, try SIM video. Just google it or VER rentals. Between the 2, I am pretty sure they will have it.

Good luck.

Thanks Noel. I didn't see that lens in either company's online rental list so I've sent them an email. I'll let you know if they do have it.

Also try Hamilton Video and Sound. They are a DVInfo sponsor and Peter and Mike are great guys. I was introduced by Tim Dashwood. I have purchased over $30k from them from a distance.

Shaun, I know Peter very well as he's the guy who sold me my pair of HM-750s.
I spoke to him before Christmas but they didn't have that lens in their stock and, due to the price and limited rental expectations, didn't expect to be getting it either :(

Ah! No big surprise I guess, just thought I'd pass along the connection. Great guys over there...
