We will be shooting the Heineken Regatta on Sint Maarten in March. We have two cameras, a Canon XF305 and a Sony PMW-350K with the standard 16x Fujinon lens.
What is the simplest way to match the custom profiles for both cameras, so that color correction in post will be avoided to the largest degree possible?

With a DSC chroma Du Mond Chart, a vectorscope and an hour or so of tweaking.

Alister,
Thanks for your reply. I was eagerly awaiting tips like this.
I looked up ChromaDuMonde (http://dsclabs.com/chromadumonde.htm) but am a complete noob at this. Can you give me some more hints? I will contact the reseller of the PMW-350K to help us match the cameras, I just hope he has the charts, a vector-scope and the time and resources to help us achieve that matching look. It is simply over reaching for two hobbyists to spend around $ 1K for a set of charts for a one time endeavor.
Any elaboration would be extremely helpful.

Harm, you'll have more chances of success if you ask your question in the right topic: this one is about XDCAM-HD camera's. The PMW 350 is an XDCAM-EX camera. There's a separate topic for the EX-camera's.
