I'm currently still using hte trial version of Vegas. I/m trying to figure out how to create an mpeg2 file that can be uploaded to ZVimeo or Youtube. When I render my project, it creates a mt2 file even though I clicked on mpeg2. Once I upload to the web I need to be able to take this same file to DVD Arcitech and create a DVD. Am I doing htis coorect or is my workflow incorrect?

What preset are you choosing under MPEG2? I also don't understand why you'd be sending an MPEG2 file the vimeo/youtube instead of using one of the internet presets. Yes, it will take two renders instead of one but I believe the final results would look better.

Ed:
FIrst I click on Main Concept /MPEG2 then I click on 1280x720p. I was under the impression that this is how its not but I guess not. I will try to use the internet setting for Vimeo. So if there is no need to create an mpeg2 how to I bring a file over to DVD Archetic where a menu will be created. Keep in mind the the menu will consist of other MPEG2 files that were created from another nle (Pinnacle) I I need to bring the Vegas file into it. Vegas seems like a great nle and i'f fairly certain I will be buying it.

That is not the correct setting for a normal SD DVD. You would need to choose one of the "DVD" presets for that.
