Hi guys,

What is the default metering mode for Video for the following cameras in VIDEO mode.

1. Canon 5D
2. Canon 7D
3. Canon T2i

** PS - I understand and can change modes in fully Manual - Still photos.... A bit challenged on the Video Mode side.

There's no choice of metering, it looks like a plain old "averaging" metering.

There's no choice of metering, it looks like a plain old "averaging" metering.Canon call it evaluative metering & it is indeed the only mode available in Video mode whereas for stills spot metering can be used.
