Hey kids,

Just had a client request to do something I have never done. He wants to shoot a teleconference and the only connection they have into their hook up is VGA.

I know zip about this so the question is simple...

How do I get video AND audio out of the EX3 using SDI out (and a converter of some sort I suppose) into a VGA connection?

You could use a mini convertor from aja or blackmagic design. The AJA HDP2 has SDI to DVI. With a cheap dvi to vga connector you can have a vga output.... You can also use an sdi to hdmi convertor from aja or blackmagic and buy a hdmi to vga convertor in a local computer store...

Beware, that aja only outputs DVI-D... For VGA you need DVI-I..

Also, VGA does not include audio as far as I know
