Tried to convert avi-files from Nikon DSLR camera to Cineform and use them in Premiere 5.5.2.

It seems that HDLink has changed the audio format from mono to stereo and I can't automatically replace the original clips in Premiere!

This mono-to-stereo behaviour in HDLink should be optional.

Waiting for updated HDLink.

HD Link (at least on windows) relies on a third party software for certain audio handling. Please refer to AC3Filter settings this should help your problem. Also it is a good idea to work with already converted files to begin with.

Thanks Dmitry! Changed AC3Filter settings and that solved the problem!

Kind regards,
