Hello,
I just saw this product here (http://www.scorptec.com.au/computer/43267-aver-gamecapturehd/). Its purpose is to capture video games being played on a PS3 or XBOX360.
It has component inputs and records at 1080i so why couldn't I plug the Sony Z1 into it to cut out the tape recording?
It's such a cheap little device for the potential hours and hours it will save me.
And I wonder whether the quality would decrease because I wouldn't be encoding at HDV but at H264.
Am I right?
