Website says $20 and forum says free " if you cant afford anything !". Thanks Andy Andy, I lost the right post or email, but he fee system goes something like this: Free if you can't afford to pay. (almaost anyone can pay something, eh?) $10.00 for a basic entry $20.00 with certificate $30.00 With cetificate and t-shirt Note:Many are kicking in more to cover additional costs. Good Luck Mike Dylan Couper August 31st, 2005, 09:59 PM ANdrew, it is free to enter, sorry, I've been busy moving into a new place and haven't got the site updated. Mike is correct, free to enter, but if you can donate something we appreciate it, and we'll hit you back with the corresponding prize. Dylan James Connors September 6th, 2005, 01:02 PM In all fairness, it might be worth rewriting the DVchallenge sign up page.. it kinda makes it sound like you have to pay at least $20. I paid because of this (i think its a great cause, but i'm on a pretty weak wage and so $20 isn't really throwaway money) whereas i'd probably have entered for free this time, and made a basic $10 donation the second time or something along those lines if i enjoyed myself (i'm sure i will!) No beef, its just as much my fault for not reading thru these threads first :) Dylan Couper September 6th, 2005, 08:21 PM In all fairness, it might be worth rewriting the DVchallenge sign up page.. :) I know, I know! Just been super busy lately and when I'm free Keith (the webmaster) is busy. |
