Have you a trick to deactivate the sleeping mode in video mode?
After few minutes without action on the start/stop video button the 7D go to sleep mode and cannot be reactivated with a remote, how to avoid this?

You can set the time of how long you want it to stay "awake" when not in use via the menues. The first wrench Icon, adjust the auto power off setting.

Move the video control switch back to stills at the end shooting a clip. This gives the camera time to cool off.
