I´ve read that it is possible to capture with the appropiate video card HDCAM footage from a HDCAM deck using firewire cable with no quality loss. This seems better than HD-SDi but i do not understand how a 22 Mb/sec video can go over a firewire 800 cable.

Does it work good? Any advice will be fine because i am messed up.
