fs100 and sony 3yr extended warranty

i am moving closer and closer to purchasing the sony fs100.

sony offers an extended 3yr warranty for $169. (b&h sells it for $139!)

has anyone purchased the sony extended warranty?

I have purchased the Sony extended warranty for my EX cameras and for my F3, Rob and it's been well worth it. It has already saved me several hundred dollars in estimates alone. As anyone who has had a repair done out of warranty can tell you, the smallest repairs can get mighty expensive and it's a small price to pay for that security. If I could extend it an additional two or three years, I would.

Anymore, I get them. $140 out of a $5000 complicated piece of electronics will pay for itself in peace of mind alone (that's like a pizza per month for the 2 years beyond the factory warranty). Actually have a problem and it pays itself instantly.
